Jana Pappas Tutoring provides personalized, one-on-one academic support for children in grades K–8. I specialize in reading, spelling, writing, and foundational math support using a warm, multisensory approach rooted in Orton-Gillingham principles.
Sessions are designed to help children strengthen foundational skills, build confidence, and feel more successful in their learning.

Research consistently shows that students make the strongest progress when intervention is provided multiple times per week with consistent practice and repetition. For children needing remediation or support in closing academic gaps, attending 3 sessions per week is often the most effective path toward meaningful growth and confidence-building.

Dedicated to Student Success
Jana Pappas Tutoring provides individualized support for K–8 students in key subjects. Jana holds a master’s in education and has more than 25 years of teaching experience, specializing in working with students with learning differences like dyslexia and ADHD. Our sessions are tailored for optimal learning outcomes.
Our youngest was more than two grade levels below for reading when we started with Jana. After working with her they are above grade level and now enjoy reading. Jana inspired our kiddo. Her methods not only teach the student but also build self-confidence and independence. We've recommended her to our friends. She cares about each one of her students and it shows.
